Monday and now in Ballantrae, a little village on the west coast of Scotland north of Stranraer. A good day today and got in a lot of miles. After a night at a great campsite at Kirkcudbright we headed to Wigtown (a book town) and Whithorn where I had a great lunch at Central Cafe. Then on to Mull of Galloway, the most southerly tip of south west Scotland. Spectacular views from the lighthouse. Very mixed weather today ranging from light rain to heavy rain and brilliant sunshine. Now settled for the night at Ballantrae. Heading north tomorrow morning and to Glasgow to see my friend Dougie Hamilton by the end of the day.
