Monday 4 July, we left Folkestone and went through Hythe, Dymchurch, St Margarets Bay, Dungeness, Lydd-on-Sea, Rye, St Leonards, Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea and Normans Bay where we found a campsite close to the beach for the night.
On Tuesday we climbed to the top of the exposed cliffs at Beachy Head (quite scary!) Then the journey took us through Brighton & Hove, Worthing, Bognor Regis, a lovely beach at Bracklesham Bay, then East Wittering
Now at my brothers house at Havant, near Portsmouth, a welcome break, laundry done, work caught up on, and a real bed and shower. Also lovely to catch up with nephews and nieces while we are here. Exhausted and enjoying the break from driving after just clocking 4000 miles since the start of the trip.
