10 August. Steadily heading north and have seen some stunning coastline since leaving the south coast. Weather has been great for the last few days until today which has been grey and drizzly with occasional heavy downpours.
Have been through St Ives which was so busy it proved impossible to visit properly. All car parks full. So we continued on our way stopping to see the spectacular coastline at Godvrey Point and Lighthouse. Then on to Portreath, St Agnes and Newquay. Impressive views at Carnewas Point and Pentire Steps on the way to Padstow.
Last night we camped on a farm at Wadebridge. Today have continued up the coast to Tintagel, Boscastle, Widemouth Bay and Bude. And now on another farm for the night at Hartland, and hoping for better weather tomorrow.
