About Clement Media Design
I am a freelance web designer and creative media specialist based in Ulverston, Cumbria on the edge of the English Lake District.
I specialize in web design and photography for artists, individuals and small businesses. I also do audio, video and multimedia work. I have over 20 years experience of working in the areas of graphic design, photography and technical support in education, using both Mac and PC systems. With advanced skills in working with digital images and multimedia, I can offer graphic design services as well as advice and training for working in print and for the web.
If you would like help with any creative work in the fields of web design, photographic services or multimedia work, contact me for further information.
Until 2010 I worked for the University of Cumbria as a graphic designer and technical support officer in the Faculty of Education. I worked as part of a team providing technical support and creative services to staff and students often involving web design, photography, audio and video production.
I live in Ulverston, a small market town in south Cumbria. It is a beautiful place to live – only 3 miles from the sea and 8 miles from Lake Windermere.
In 2009 I completed a Master of Science in Multimedia Computing at the University of Central Lancashire after 3 years of part-time study. This has allowed me to widen the scope of my skills. As well as my original specialism in graphic design and graphics software, I also offer web design and multimedia work.
I have a passion for photography, particularly exploring light, texture and patterns in nature. I enjoy walking in the Lake District and Furness area with my camera and my Patterdale Terrier, Jack, constantly on the look out for interesting shots to add to my collection.
In Summer 2016 I travelled (and worked) around the complete UK coastline in my campervan exploring seascapes with my camera. The trip lasted 5 months and involved 6222 miles of travel.
